About Us

Brainroot Light and Sound is a small video production company in Kansas City, Missouri. We specialize in web video. We are a small group of guys that have a knack for video and a heart for our city. Our three values are provision, creativity, and community. We’re young and sometimes make mistakes, but we always work to correct them.

what is “brainroot”

“Brainroot” is a name that came from a brainstorming session as the two founders were preparing to start their freelance company. There is no deep, hidden philosophical or mythological meaning behind the name. Perhaps someday we will invent one. Preferably, meaning will be given to the name as the years progress and we continue to grow and help our clients and our community.

But for now, it is just our name. We feel it’s a good name. But it’s just a name.
