Shortly before the new year we received an email from Mike McCamon, the Chief Community Officer at Water.org. He had just been out in Los Angeles promoting Water.org and part of the trip included the incredible opportunity to be one of the eight organizations promoted this year by Project For Awesome, which really is an awesome social philanthropy project. If you’re not familiar with them, check out their site.

Our video played right at the end of the interview. It’s always great to see our work go up on client’s sites, but it’s even better when we see that those videos are really getting out there and the message is being conveyed to tons of people, and that’s one of the things that Water.org does really well. They not only know the power of video, they know the importance of getting it viewed.

Water.org is a local Kansas City philanthropic organization working to provide water access & sanitation education to any place that doesn’t have it. Check them out, they’re incredible. And buy Roasterie coffee with their sticker on it. Do it! You’ll feel good if you do (and guilty if you don’t).
